Fiber Optic Microscope:
Hand Held Fiber Microscope is used for inspecting fiber terminations, providing the most critical view of fiber and faces. Coaxial illumination (CL) series produces excellent detail of scratches and contamination with its good optical performance and integrated laser safety filters. It is the clear choice for critical examination of polish quality. Light is introduced into the optical path (axis) so that it comes out the tip of the objective and strikes the sample perpendicular to the fiber end-face. It produces excellent details of scratches and contamination. For critical examination of polish quality, we strongly recommend you to use this fiber microscope (CL).

Coaxial Illumination:
Coaxial illumination provides the most critical view of fiber end face conditions while maximizing details. In this method, light travels along the same axis as the sample inserted, producing a highly detailed image of fine scratches and contamination.
Oblique Illumination:
Oblique illumination causes the light from the white LED to hit the fiber end face at an angle, making the core clearly visible, providing users with an easy and ready view of surface debris or contamination. It limits the scratches seen on the ferrule, allowing technicians to polish to a low loss level and to avoid over-polishing.
